Director Shankar is yet to shoot one song for Vikram's Ai and the post productions works are currently progressing at a brisk pace. The director who is known for his tremendous success rate has recently impressed with three Tamil films. Viz., Velai Illa Pattadhari, Sathuranga Vettai and Jigarthanda.

Jigardhanda is superb. The film is unpredictable and humorously thrilling said the director. Shankar says that the film gave a,new experience to him and everyone have given exellent performance in the film. Shankar also appreciated Karthik Subbaraj's writing by a caption 'kalakka'l Subbaraj.
